Intense garnet red. Perfume of ripe fruits with a hint of small red berries blending into each other in a sweet vanilla flavored note, lightly spicy with nutmeg. The mouth feel is notably more viscous because of the additional aging and can sometimes have a hint of port although not too sweet. The finish is long, balanced, and beautiful.

Our 2008 Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec. Lush tannins and intense fruit flavors of black currant, blackberries, plums, and cocoa combine on the palate for an excellent structure.
The nose opens with rich plum notes and just a hint of clove. Lots of red fruit, black cherry, and cola berry follow, and the aroma finishes with a distinct note of dark chocolate. Chocolate covered blueberries are abundant on the palate, black currant and smoke add complexity and depth to this wine.
The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon starts out with tobacco, anise, and cedar jumping out of the glass. Currant preserves exist on the nose as well as transitioning into the palate. Hints of baking spices, particularly cinnamon and vanilla, can be caught lingering in the background.
