Yosemite is a grand, towering, spectacular and soul-stirring place. And after a vigorous hike up to any manner of postcard-perfect waterfalls, a place that will inspire a powerful thirst. Such was the scene last weekend, winding down the afternoon with glasses of ice-cold SB, sitting in the sun listening to the wind rustle the pines and the occasional thump of a 30-something male falling off the front porch (hey, it WAS a bachelor party).
Trinitas, made by 30-something winemaker Kevin Mills, is a classic Napa SB in what I call a "stylish" style, with ripe melons, apple fruit, lemon zest and a touch of vanilla. Quite fresh and delicious and highly quaffable. 'Tis the season to be drinking SB, and this one is a beauty at about $17!
