Current Release Red Wines
The nose on the 2013 is bright and intense featuring the classic Trinitas Pinot rhubarb pie, with intense rhubarb and beautiful notes of cinnamon, all spice, cloves, and apple pie spice. The palate is rich, with an assortment of red, black, and bing cherry flavors. The baking spices transfer beautifully to the palate and accent the broad mouthfeel and body of this wine.
This is our most popular red wine! Each year our winemaker blends our favorite old vine varietals. The blend is truly a “mystery” until the wine is bottled. Our goal is to produce a fruit forward, approachable wine that can be enjoyed with or without food. The aromas and palate showcase ripe raspberry, maraschino cherry, blackberry jam and vanilla tinged notes of oak. This is a perfect wine to take to a dinner party and share with friends. Aged exclusively in American oak barrels.

The 2013 Merlot’s nose starts with beautiful blueberry and sweet cedar notes. Hints of vanilla, cigar box, and chocolate round out the aroma. The mouthfeel of the Merlot is smooth from start to finish. This wine exhibits the classic Rutherford dust composition and texture. Flavors of cherry liqueur, vanilla, and dark chocolate dominate the palate.
The nose starts with surprising hints of BBQ notes like mesquite and a pinch of pepper. This evolves into beautiful notes of big black cherry, dark chocolate, and essences of raspberry. The palate is dominated by chocolate and coffee notes, the mid palate has hints of cola berry and currant which leads to the long lingering finish.

The nose starts out with a distinct smell of chocolate covered maraschino cherries, which leads into notes of strawberry preserves, vanilla extract, and caramel. The cherry from the nose translates to the broad palate and exhibits a beautiful and rich note of cherries jubilee. This wine exhibits a solid and wide core on the palate that continues through the lingering finish.

Rich red cherries are abundant on the nose accompanied by notes of plum, blackberry compote, muddled blueberries, cocoa, and a hint of baking spices. The Cabernet is incredibly rich in flavor but surprisingly elegant and velvety in structure. Chocolate covered black cherries and beautiful blackberries are present throughout the core.

The nose is rich with bright notes of muddled strawberries, cinnamon sticks, and smoked Cherrywood. The palate is dense and structured. The big cherry, blueberry, and strawberry notes are bold and hit you in the cheeks with flavor. The Mataro also has hints of cedar, hickory, and vanilla, with a nice finish of cherries jubilee.
The nose offers dense aromatics of fruitcake, brier, vanilla, baking spices, and strawberry. The palate is dominated by jammy blackberry, with notes of espresso and spice. The palate is structured with complex layers of uber ripe dark fruit, dried cherry, persistent oak and a vanilla tinged finish.
