About Trinitas Cellars

At Trinitas Cellars, wine is about more than what's in the glass. It's about bringing people together, celebrating life's milestones, and creating lasting memories. Founded by Tim and Steph Busch, Trinitas was built on three enduring values: faith, family, and friends. Today, this continues to guide everything we do.

Rooted in Family. Guided by Devotion. Crafted for Connection.

Located at the southern gateway to Napa Valley, Trinitas Cellars reflects a deep appreciation for the land, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to crafting exceptional wines that honor both tradition and place. Every bottle tells a story of vineyard, vintage, and the people who share it.

A family legacy in wine

The Busch family's connection to wine began with a simple belief: life's most meaningful moments are made even better when shared, and even richer when grounded in spirituality.

That belief shaped Trinitas Cellars into a family-owned winery known for gracious hospitality, thoughtful winemaking, and a deep sense of purpose.

A legacy of Catholicism

The name Trinitas comes from the Latin word for Trinity, a daily reminder of the devotion that has shaped our family and our wines since the beginning.

That belief inspired the creation of ratZINger, a Zinfandel honoring Pope Benedict XVI, and later Cabernet FRANCis, crafted for Pope Francis and personally presented to him at the Vatican. These tributes grew into our Faith Collection with wines like Our Lady of Guadalupe, Saint Francis of Assisi, and Easter Cuvée, each inspired by the people, traditions, and values that guide us. From Pope Benedict XVI to Pope Francis and now Pope Leo XIV, the collection continues to celebrate Catholicism, family, and gratitude.

A sense of place

Exceptional wines begin with exceptional vineyards. Trinitas partners with respected growers and vineyard stewards throughout Napa Valley and California's premier wine regions to source fruit of the highest quality.

From the renowned vineyards of Rutherford and Oak Knoll to the cool-climate influences of Carneros, Sonoma Coast, and beyond, each vineyard contributes its own distinctive voice. Our winemaking philosophy focuses on allowing that character to shine, crafting wines that are balanced, expressive, and true to their origins.

The result is a portfolio that captures the diversity, beauty, and complexity of California wine country while remaining unmistakably Trinitas.

More than a winery

At Trinitas, hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're joining us for a tasting, attending a wine club event, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a bottle at home, we strive to create experiences that are welcoming, unforgettable, and filled with happiness.

Located at The Meritage Resort and Spa, our tasting room serves as a gathering place where guests can discover new wines, reconnect with old favorites, and become part of the Trinitas world. Every visit is an opportunity to slow down, savor the experience, and celebrate the people who matter most.

Faith. Family. Friends.

These three words have guided Trinitas Cellars from the very beginning and continue to shape who we are today.

They inspire the wines we craft, the experiences we create, and the relationships we cherish with our guests, wine club members, and community. Whether you're discovering Trinitas for the first time or have shared our wines for years, we invite you to become part of our story.

We look forward to seeing you in Napa Valley to raise a glass together.
